SPECTRUM DEVELOPMENT PARTNERSHIP
Spectrum Development
Partnership is a unique partnership of ten independent Housing
Associations with the unrivalled experience and expertise of
managing more than
46,000 homes within diverse communities’ across the West Midlands.
The consortium partners first began working
together in 2003 before formally launching
Spectrum Development Partnership in May 2007.
The organisation has a vision to deliver at least 1,000 new
affordable homes each year.
Spectrum is delivering a development programme in
excess of £175 million in partnership
with the Housing Corporation, funding bodies, local authorities and
private developers.
The consortium members have a breadth of local
knowledge, management networks, specialist skills and
expertise in delivering a diverse mix of both affordable housing and
support services
across a wide range of communities.
Spectrum has developed an excellent reputation for the quality of
its work based on its ability to manage
and deliver a wide range of building projects on time and to budget.
Lead partner West Mercia Housing Group is an investment partner and
HomeBuy agent with the Housing Corporation.
Having exceeded delivery targets for 2006/07,
Spectrum was awarded £30 million in the 2008 -2011
National Affordable Housing Programme and was one of only three
investment partners
passported through the pre-qualification stage.
